Introduction to Songchu Temple: There are 5 temples around Kailash. Qugu Temple is the first stop on the mountain tour, followed by Zhire Temple, Songchu Temple (also known as Huanhuan Temple), Jiangzha Temple and Sailong Temple, with the latter two temples located on the inner route. These five temples all have many popular legends and stories, and they retain rich cultural relics such as sculptures, statues, and murals. However, they have all been destroyed to varying degrees.
