Introduction to Thangka Art: Thangka is a transliteration of the Tibetan language Thangka. It is a widely popular and very distinctive art form in Tibetan painting. The thangkas displayed in the museum cover many fields such as Tibetan history, politics, culture and social life, and can be called a true "encyclopedia" of the Tibetan people. Although all the thangkas on display are old, their colors are still bright and unrestrained. It is said that the materials used for thangka are all natural mineral and plant raw materials, which ensures that its color is bright and long-lasting.
