Introduction to Zhongqu River: Sakya Temple is divided into two temples, the north and the south, with Zhongqu River as the boundary. The North Temple was built in front of Benbo Mountain on the north bank. It was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. Now only the Sakya South Temple still exists.
