Introduction to the five-story pagoda: Located in the southwest corner of the temple, it is the second tallest pagoda in Japan. It was first built in the first year of Qing'an (1648) and rebuilt in 1973 (Showa 48). It is built of reinforced concrete with an aluminum alloy tile roof. The base is about 5 meters high and the tower itself is about 48 meters high. Inside the base altar is the Lingpai Hall, which houses the spiritual tablets for offerings. The top floor of the pagoda contains relics from Sri Lanka.
