Exhibition hall introduction: Tongling is named after copper, and it also prospers due to mining and smelting copper. In the museum, you can learn about Tongling’s 3,000-year history of copper mining and smelting, China’s earliest copper sulfide smelting relics, and commercial products. Exhibits such as Zhou bronzes, Western Zhou matte ingots, Han and Tang smelting slags, and the first copper ingots smelted in New China are all unique.
