Introduction to the Forest of Steles in the Valley: The Forest of Steles in the Valley is a corridor in the park inlaid with 101 steles inscribed with poems and couplets written by famous Chinese calligraphers. The promenade is winding, antique, and has the characteristics of Huizhou architecture. The name of the "Valley Stele Forest" was inscribed by Mr. Zhao Puchu, the former vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. The contents of the works are Huang Tingjian's poems, couplets and famous quotes passed down from generation to generation. Because Huang Tingjian's alias is also known as Huangshan Valley and Mr. Valley, the forest of steles was named "Valley Forest of Steles".
