Lecture Hall Introduction: Located behind the Golden Hall, it is 9 rooms wide and has a single eaves on the top of the mountain. It is also a national treasure of Japan. It was originally the court hall of Pingcheng Palace built in the early 8th century, and is the only remaining building of Pingcheng Palace. There is a painted and colored Maitreya Tathagata Buddha statue in the lecture hall. There are two small pavilions shaped like sedans on both sides of the Buddha statue, which were the places where Jianzhen masters and disciples gave lectures. The scripture collection room in the courtyard of the lecture hall contains scriptures that Jianzhen brought from China more than 1,200 years ago.
