Introduction to Liu Jingji's Residence: No. 99 Wukang Road is the residence of Liu Jingji, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. It was originally the residence of the British businessman Zhengguang and Taipan of the Western Bank. After liberation, Pan Hanshi, Wei Wenbo, and Wang Zhen all lived here. After the Cultural Revolution, the Shanghai Municipal Government arranged for Liu Jingji to live there, and it still belongs to the Liu family. This British country-style villa is surrounded by greenery, with steep slopes of red tiles, Gothic fireplace chimneys and pointed dormer windows, which convey a rich British country flavor. In the last scene of the movie "Lust, Caution", Wang Jiazhi calmly got into a rickshaw with a big diamond ring, and then said to the rickshaw driver, "Go to Fukaisen Road." The film director Ang Lee chose Wukang as the location for this tryst. No. 99 Road, in this single-family villa.
