Introduction to the Meade Grand Canyon: The Meade Grand Canyon is at the junction of Tunisia, Libya and Algeria. The 7-kilometer-long naturally formed rift valley has a unique rock texture and is sunk deep under the mountain top. The oasis on the top of the Meades Mountains was once an important stop for camel caravans from the three countries. Today, it is also the economic and trade exchange center among the three countries.
