Introduction to the Rongshengtong Salt Ship: The Rongshengtong Salt Ship was built in the late Qing Dynasty and was a transfer station for salt from Sichuan to Guizhou. It is an important relic of the ancient salt road. When the salt road was prosperous, there were eight salt stores in the town. The current store names that are well preserved include Hengyanhao, Sanyi Hengyanhao, Deqianyu Salthao, Rongshengtong Salthao, etc. When the Red Army marched four times across Chishui and stationed at Taipingdu, the Red Army not only distributed the confiscated property of landlord Zhu Feisheng to the people here, but also distributed all 400,000 dans of salt in the Rongshengtongyan warehouse to the local people. Rongshengtongyanhao is also the residence of Chairman Mao. After liberation, the Taipingdu Red Army Long March Memorial Hall was first built here.
