Introduction to the Palace of Chaillot: The Palace of Chaillot is located on the bank of the Seine River, north of the Eiffel Tower. It was built by the French government in 1937 for the International Expo. The Palace of Chaillot is composed of four large museums, each of which extends into an arc. The overall building looks like a curved palace with open arms ready to embrace the Iron Lady (Eiffel Tower). The Eiffel Tower is even more beautiful against the backdrop of the splashing fountain in front of the Chaillot Palace.
