Introduction to the Royal Theater: The Royal Theater was originally built around 1870. It was an opera house-style building that was quite popular at that time. In 1930, the Royal Theater was expanded and a new tower structure was added. There are two sculptures at the main entrance of the theater. On the left is the romantic poet Adam Oehlenschlager (1779-1850), who was famous for his nationalism. Famous for his Romantic poetry, he also wrote Romantic tragedies; on the right is the playwright Ludvig Holberg (1684-1754), whose comedies and satires are still loved by audiences today.
