The building was originally the storage place for the emperor's royal books and plaques, and was later moved to the Nanyue Museum. The Royal Library currently displays more than 200 precious cultural relics unearthed and collected near Nanyue. These cultural relics are of great value to the study of ancient Nanyue's politics, economy, military, culture and other aspects.
