Introduction to the House of Wonders: The House of Wonders is a clock tower-style building with two cannons at the door, facing the sea opposite. It was once part of the royal palace. Because it was the first palace on the island to have electric lights and elevators, it was called the Palace of Curiosities. It is said that 60 black slaves were buried alive under each of the 40 columns in the Palace of Rare Things. The current Palace of Treasures is also a palace museum with some precious exhibitions.
