Introduction to Yongsi Hall: Among the 18 ancient residences preserved in Sujiawei, the oldest is Yongsi Hall, which was built in 1481 to commemorate Su Dongshan, the eighth ancestor of Sujiawei, so it is also called Dongshan. Su Gong Temple has always been a place where people of the Su family held sacrifices and held discussions. The main body of the main hall is three buildings. There is no common door facing the hall, but side doors on both sides. It is said that this is a characteristic of mansion-style Hakka houses, because the Hakka people believe that it is unlucky to open the door facing the hall. This is evident from the ancient people's emphasis on Yin and Yang Feng Shui in architecture.
