Introduction to the Bingling Temple Grottoes: The Bingling Temple Grottoes are located in the suburbs of Lanzhou, Gansu Province. They are located in the Dasi Valley of Xiaojishi Mountain on the bank of Bingling Lake in the Three Gorges of the Yellow River in Yongjing, about 35 kilometers away from Yongjing County. The grottoes were first built in 420 AD. , with a history of more than 1,600 years, is one of the three major grottoes in Gansu.
The grottoes are divided into Xiasi area, Shangsi area and Donggou area, with a total of 216 cave niches, more than 800 statues, more than 1,000 square meters of murals, 50 pagodas of various types, and a collection of painted pottery, gold and bronze statues, There are more than 400 cultural relics such as Thangkas and Buddhist scriptures.
