Introduction to Røros Church: Røros Kirke is located in the center of the town. Its tall tower makes it particularly eye-catching. The church was built in 1784 during the heyday of the town. The interior decoration presents a gorgeous Baroque style. It can accommodate 1,600 people and is the largest wooden church in Norway. Now the restored church has reopened to the public and is often used to hold concerts and other cultural activities.
