Introduction to Mao Zedong’s former residence: Mao Zedong’s former residence is located under the slope to the east of Mao Zedong’s reception room. There are two stone cave dwellings, which were Mao Zedong’s office and bedroom. Mao Zedong lived here from January 1946 to March 1947. There is a stone table in front of the door, where Mao Zedong talked when he sent his eldest son Mao Anying to work in the countryside.
