Introduction to the Tyrone River: The Tyrone River is one of two rivers that originate in Yosemite National Park. In 1984, the U.S. Congress named about 130 kilometers of restless waters of the Tyrone River the "Wild and Scenic River", indicating special protection for this waterway.
