Introduction to the upper temple: The upper temple was built in the 10th year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty. It now has a front hall, a back hall and two wings. The main hall is a mountain-lifted beam-style building with a single eaves and five sandalwood front verandahs, and is beautifully decorated and painted. The front hall is a single-eaves, five-tank, hard-mountain-raised-beam-style building with carved beams and painted pillars and exquisite decoration and painting techniques.
