Introduction to Grape Valley: Looking at the Flame Mountain from Turpan City, the red sand is scorching and no vegetation grows. Grape Valley is about 8 kilometers long from north to south and half a kilometer wide. It is home to more than 6,000 people of the Uyghur, Hui and Han ethnic groups. Grape Valley is located in the Flame Mountain Canyon 10 kilometers northeast of Turpan City, Xinjiang.
