Introduction to Sugong Pagoda: Sugong Pagoda is located in Munage Village, Grape Township, 2 kilometers east of Turpan City. It is an Islamic tower with a novel and unique shape. Sugong Pagoda is the largest existing ancient pagoda in Xinjiang. It was built in 1778 AD and has a history of more than 200 years. It was built by Emin Hezhuo, the famous general of Turpan County in the Qing Dynasty, in order to repay the kindness of the Qing Dynasty and express his love for God. His piety made his life's achievements immortal to future generations, and he spent 7,000 taels of silver to build it. The interior of Su Gong Pagoda is entirely built with blue-gray bricks. It is 44 meters high and the diameter of the tower base is 10 meters. There are 72 spiral steps in the tower leading to the top. There are 14 windows in different directions and heights around the tower. The surface of the tower is layered with 15 geometric patterns such as triangular patterns, four-petal patterns, water ripples, and rhombus patterns, which has a strong Islamic architectural style.
