Desert Botanical Garden Introduction: The Desert Botanical Garden is located about 10 kilometers southeast of Turpan City. It is located on quicksand and covers an area of 40 hectares. When you first arrive here, you can first see the green hedges lined with Mongolian sand holly, followed by various rare plants, such as tamarisk, medicinal herbs, acanthus, sagebrush, licorice, etc. The number of taxa here accounts for more than 80% of the total plant distribution in China's desert areas. As an inland arid desert region, the landscape here is breathtaking. In addition, there is an artificial lake in the garden. In spring and summer, the water of the lake is sparkling and the trees on the shore are green, making people feel like they are in the south of the Yangtze River.
