Introduction to the Kiev Opera House: The Ukrainian National Opera House is located on Vladimir Street. It was built in 1867 and is the third opera house in the Russian Empire. The opera house building was designed by the famous designer Nikolai Vasily and is one of the four famous theaters in Europe.
In its early days, most of the performances performed at the Ukrainian National Opera were Ukrainian works and some translated European works. The opera house was reduced to ashes in a fire in 1896 and was later rebuilt in 1901. In the first decade of the 20th century, the Ukrainian State Opera attracted the most famous singers and opera singers to perform here.
