National Park Introduction: Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park is located in the red center of Australia, 440 kilometers southwest of Alice Springs. The park covers an area of 1,326 square kilometers and consists of two parts: Uluru/Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta/Mount Olga, which are about 40 kilometers apart. In 1987, the park was listed as a World Heritage for the first time; in 1994, it was listed as a cultural heritage.
