Introduction to the Golden Palace: The Golden Palace (Galleria Giorgio Franchetti) was built in 1440. In the past, the gleaming gold-painted buildings were once known as the "Golden Palace". It is the most outstanding Gothic building in Venice. Now, it has gradually become an art museum and is open to the general public.
