Introduction to Kirche am Hof: Kirche am Hof was built from 1386 to 1403, also known as Kirche zu den neun Chören der Engel. The church is located on the east side of Anhof Square in the inner city of Vienna. In 1662, it was commissioned by Eleonore Gonzaga (Carlo Antonio Carlone), the widow of Emperor Ferdinand III, to plan and reconstruct the church facade in the Baroque style.
