Introduction to Yinyuan Memorial Hall: The Yinyuan Memorial Hall was donated and built by Mr. Yamaoka Yoshiharu, a believer of the Japanese Huangbo Sect, and his wife Yan Mu'e. It aims to commemorate the merits of Yinyuan's journey to the east to spread Buddhism and the founding of the Japanese Huangbo Sect. The life-like wooden statue of Zen Master Yin Yuan enshrined in the middle was brought back to the mountain from Japan. There are mahogany statues on the east and west sides. One is the historical story of Yi Yuan's eastward journey by boat from Xiamen, and the other is the panoramic view of Wanfu Temple in Huangbo Mountain, Japan.
