Introduction to Nanla River: The source of Nanla River is Yiwu, the starting point of the Tea Horse Road. It winds through Mengla Bazi, flows through Guanlei Town, and merges with the Lancang-Mekong River. The total length is 189 kilometers. The mother river of Mengla nourishes more than ten ethnic groups living in villages along the river. The river water is crystal clear, the tropical rainforests on both sides of the river are well preserved, and the scenery is beautiful. Nanla River is a Dai language, which is translated into Chinese as a river of tea. The origin of the name of the river is related to Theravada Buddhism.
