Introduction to Joke Cross Street: The center of Joke Cross Street is the "Laughing Monument" composed of 72 stones crisscrossed and stacked three-dimensionally. It is 7.2 meters high and symbolizes the "72 Struggles" of Vang Vieng's traditional jokes. The four sides are engraved with the Chinese character (zeng) specially approved by the National Character Reform Commission and originally created by Wanrong people.
