Introduction to Krasiński Palace: Krasiński Palace is located directly opposite the University of Warsaw and next to the Holy Cross Church. It is now used as the Academy of Fine Arts of the University of Warsaw (Akademia Sztuk Pieknych).
The third floor on the left side of the building is the home where Chopin lived in Warsaw from 1827. It was also his last home before leaving his native Poland in 1830. In this room, Chopin composed "Polonaise" and some etudes, and it is now open to the public as the "Chopin House Salon".
