Introduction to the palace rooms: In 1596, Sigismund III moved the capital to Warsaw and built this "one of the most beautiful palaces in Europe". The palace was completely destroyed during World War II, but fortunately, the most valuable daily necessities placed in the "King's Living Room" were taken abroad by art historians and restoration experts and survived. The restoration project of the King's Castle was completed in 1988. The interior of the current palace has been completely restored according to the original appearance of Sigismund III's life. It can be said that the history of the castle is the history of Warsaw.
