Introduction to the University of the District of Columbia: The University of the District of Columbia is a public university founded in the first year of Xianfeng (1851) and located in Washington, District of Columbia. It has approximately 5,363 students. The university consists of four colleges: the College of Applied Science and Engineering, the College of Business and Public Administration, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the David A. Clark School of Law. Certificate programs in art, music, science, engineering, plumbing and law are available at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
