Introduction to the Dragon Boat Invitational Race: The event was founded in 1976. The first session was held at the Shau Kei Wan Typhoon Shelter. Later, it was held at more locations in Tsim Sha Tsui East and the sea off Wan Chai. Every year, teams from different regions around the world are invited to compete. It is a major event in Hong Kong's dragon boating community to compete.
