Introduction to Hongxing Temple: Hongxing Temple, formerly known as Hongxing Temple, was built in the Northern and Southern Dynasties and the Northern Wei Dynasty. It was damaged and rebuilt due to an earthquake in the 12th year of Zhenguan in the Tang Dynasty. On May 18, 2012, it was approved by the Shandong Buddhist Association, local government, and religious institutions. The department approved the reconstruction and held a major consecration ceremony. The temple as a whole is a palace-style building imitating the Ming and Qing Dynasties, covering a total area of 20 acres. It is composed of four main halls including the mountain gate, Tianwang Hall, Daxiong Hall, Sutra Collection Building, and Dharma Hall, as well as many side halls. It is surrounded by mountains and seas, with winding paths leading to secluded areas. The Pharmacist Glazed Pagoda and the Sun and Moon Pagoda respond to each other from a distance. They are so magnificent that they are known as the "Buddha Kingdom of the Sea and Sky".
