Introduction to the Aquatic Botanical Garden: The Aquatic Botanical Garden is an exhibition area for aquatic ornamental plants and wetland vegetation. It was planned and designed by the Wuhan Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Nanjing Institute of Aquatic Botany, and constructed by the Beijing Old Summer Palace Garden Company. It covers an area of 150,000 square meters. The South-to-North Plant Diversion Project has collected more than 1,000 varieties of aquatic plants from the north and south. It is the aquatic botanical garden with the most varieties and the largest area of aquatic plants in the north of the Yangtze River. It is called the gene bank of aquatic plants in my country.
