Introduction to the plaque and inscription: After the completion of the Baling Bridge reconstruction project in August of the 23rd year of the Republic of China (1934), the local government petitioned dignitaries from the central government and the province to write inscriptions to commemorate it. Chiang Kai-shek inscribed "Wanbo Qinlong" and Yu Youren inscribed it. "Journey to the Great Road", Sun Ke inscribed "Changhong on the Wei River", in addition there are monuments written by Wang Jingwei, plaques and inscriptions left by Yang Hucheng, Lin Sen and others, as well as "South Valley Source Changing" by Zuo Zongtang, inscribed by Qi Gong and Pei Jianzhun "Baling Bridge" and other celebrity calligraphy works.
