It was built in the 36th year of Kangxi (1697 AD) and rebuilt in the 4th year of Daoguang (1824). The hall is divided into two floors. The upper floor is a storage place for scriptures, and the downstairs is a place for Buddhist activities, enshrining a Burmese jade Buddha. There is a color picture of "Lion's Roar" painted on the wall in the middle of the hall.
