Introduction to the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall: On September 19, 1912, Dr. Sun Yat-sen came to Taiyuan for an inspection, and all walks of life in the provincial capital held a grand welcome party by the Wenying Lake. Mr. Zhongshan climbed to the second floor of the Labor Exhibition Hall and preached the Three People's Principles to the people from all walks of life in Shanxi Province, encouraging industry to save the country. This is the only time in his life that he comes to Taiyuan. The place where he gave his speech has now been converted into the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, which stands on the north bank of the lake.
