Introduction to Heron Forest Park: Bird Island in the southeast of Mulan Lake is the largest "Heron Forest Park" in Hubei Province. Thousands of trees on the island are towering, the winding paths in the forest are secluded, the forest ravines are beautiful, the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant, the wind is blowing the pine waves in the valleys, and the beautiful scenery of thousands of layers of rain and dew drops makes visitors linger. The landscape is extremely unique; more than 100,000 herons live in the forest all year round. Birds, with a total of 9 orders, 18 families and 31 species, are the largest heron group in the province. Among them, the yellow-billed egret is a national second-level protected rare bird, and there are also rare birds such as pond heron, cattle egret, night heron, and black-crested tiger dove.
