Park introduction: The terrain of Wujin Mountain is high in the north and low in the south. It is composed of moderately cut bedrock mountains and earth-rock mountains. The main rocks are gray sandstone and purple-red, formed during the Permian and Carboniferous periods of the Paleozoic. Gray-green shale accounts for 87% of the entire territory. Among them, Zhonglinshan, Wujinshan, and Dahongshan to the north of Jianhe are mostly gray sandstones from the Upper and Lower Shihezi Formations and Taiyuan Formations of the Permian System. Purple-red sand shale of the Permian Shiqianfeng Formation in Zijinshan to the east of Jianhe River. The loess covering some areas is leached cinnamon soil, cinnamon soil and stony soil developed from sand shale parent material and loess parent material, accounting for 13% of the entire territory.
