Introduction to Fomu Cave: Fomu Cave is also known as Thousand Buddha Cave. Fomu Cave is a limestone cave located near the top of the mountain in the southeast branch of Nantai. Thousand Buddha Cave is a cave dedicated to Sakyamuni. Thousand Buddha Cave is divided into two caves: the inner and outer caves. There are various milkstones and stalagmites in the inner cave, which are shaped like the spine of the five internal organs. Therefore, entering the cave is called "casting into the mother's womb of the Buddha", and exiting the cave is called "rebirth of the mother of the Buddha." Thousand Buddha Cave is a must-visit place for Buddhist believers, especially Mongolian and Tibetan Buddhist believers and overseas Buddhist believers to worship Mount Wutai.
