Introduction to Tayuan Temple (Big White Pagoda): Located in the south of Xiantong Temple, Taihuai Town, Wutai Mountain, it is one of the five famous Zen places in Mount Wutai. Because there is a big white pagoda in the courtyard, it is named Tayuan Temple. The big white pagoda towering into the sky is the main symbol of the temple. The full name of the pagoda is the Sakyamuni Relic Pagoda, commonly known as the Great White Pagoda.
