Introduction to Xiantong Temple: Xiantong Temple was built in AD 5875 during the Yongping period of the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is the largest and oldest temple in Mount Wutai and one of the five famous Zen places in Mount Wutai. It is the earliest temple in China, together with the White Horse Temple in Luoyang, and is now listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit. The temple covers an area of ​​120 acres and has more than 400 various buildings. The most eye-catching one is a pure metal building made of bronze castings, known as the "Xiantong Bronze Hall". The Bronze Hall was built in the 37th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1609 AD). The hall is 8.3 meters high, 4.7 meters wide and 4.5 meters deep. It is one of the only three bronze halls in my country.
