Introduction to Qian Mu: Qian Mu (July 30, 1895 - August 30, 1990), a modern Chinese historian and a master of Chinese studies. He has successively served as professor at Yanjing, Beijing, Tsinghua, Sichuan, Qilu, Southwest Associated University and other universities, and also served as dean of the School of Liberal Arts of Jiangnan University in Wuxi. In 1949, he moved to Hong Kong and founded New Asia College. In 1966, Qian Mu moved to Taipei, Taiwan, and worked at the "Chinese Culture Academy" (today's China Culture University). He was an academician of the "Academia Sinica" and a distinguished researcher of the "Forbidden City Museum". Died in Taipei on August 30, 1990. In 1992, he was buried on the shore of Taihu Lake in Suzhou.
