Introduction to Datong Hall: Datong Hall, also called Daxiong Hall, was built in the third year of Datong (537) in the Liang Dynasty. During the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, Datong Hall and surrounding buildings were destroyed. Later, a tree hall named "Zhaozhongci" was built on this old site. Embedded on the wall of the front hall are two stone tablets written by Li Hongzhang, including "Edict Jian Huishan Zhaozhong Ci Ji". Datong Hall is a well-preserved tree hall building from the Qing Dynasty, which has the characteristics of ancient Chinese architecture. There are still three old osmanthus trees in the courtyard behind the palace, which are more than 1,300 years old. During the Mid-Autumn Festival, the fragrance of sweet-scented osmanthus makes this building look more elegant.
