Introduction to the Eight Bamboo Stele: In the second year of Chongzhen (1629), Li Rihua, a connoisseur of Jiaxing calligraphy and painting in the Ming Dynasty, collected eight bamboo paintings from Wuzhen in his family collection. In the early Qing Dynasty, the Bazhu Monument was carried away by numerous officials and travelers. In the 24th year of Kangxi's reign, the local Qian An asked Qian Shigeng to re-carve the original rubbings. The ruins were restored and have been preserved for more than 300 years. The contents of the works are all double-clear paintings composed of bamboo and stone. The "Bazhu Stele" is Jiashan has added a precious historical and cultural heritage.
