Introduction to Hong Tianguifu's Cell: In the third year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1864), Tianjing (Nanjing) fell. Under the protection of Qian Wang Hong Renxuan and others, the young Taiping Heavenly King Hong Tianguifu (the eldest son of Hong Xiuquan) led the remaining Taiping Army southward. On October 23, the young king was arrested by the Qing army and imprisoned in the Osmanthus House Flower Hall. Osmanthus House is the only well-preserved Hakka house in the county. It is a typical representative of Hakka houses in the Qing Dynasty and embodies the unique Hakka architectural culture. The residence was built in 1851 and completed in 1864. It is a brick-and-wood structure, hanging on the top of the mountain. It has three halls and two horizontal residences, with a patio in the middle, the main room at the back, wing rooms on both sides, front and rear courtyards, and "Yong Huai" in regular script on the door. The two characters were built by Huang Xingcun, a wealthy man in Shicheng. Its preservation is of great significance to the study of the revolutionary struggle in the late Taiping Rebellion.
