Introduction to Daqu Island: Daqu Island Scenic Area is about 9 kilometers southwest of the county. It consists of Daqu Island, Shuangfeng Mountain, Nanbai Island, Beibei Island and other islands. The scenic area covers an area of 6.05 square kilometers, with stone appreciation and bird watching as its main features. Daqu is the homophony of "Duju" in the local dialect. Most of the ancestors of the island residents moved here from the mainland because of poverty, so the island was named after it. The beautiful scenery on the island is mainly concentrated in the four major blocks: Stone Buddha Viewing the Sea, Dashi Beach, Xiangxue Pavilion, and Zheng Chenggong School Ground.
