Fort introduction: South Fortress Mountain is a coastal defense fortress in the East China Sea. There is a bunker on the fort, which was the lookout point of the original artillery company. It has an excellent view. You can observe the endless sea in front, monitor the mountains and strange targets on the sea, and prepare to prevent foreign enemy invasion. The Qi Jiguang sculpture is a cement sculpture built by the people of Dongtou in 1996 to commemorate Qi Jiguang, the anti-Japanese hero of the Ming Dynasty. There is a military training pavilion on the left side of the lookout, which is connected to the Qi Jiguang sculpture by a 48-meter-long wooden cable bridge. The waves rolling and roaring under the bridge are so powerful that it makes people cough. Walking on the bridge is thrilling.
